14 “The days are coming,’ declares the LORD, ‘when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah.
15 “‘In those days and at that time
I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line;
he will do what is just and right in the land.
16 In those days Judah will be saved
and Jerusalem will live in safety.
This is the name by which it[a] will be called:
The LORD Our Righteous Savior.’
Advent-The Arrival, the Coming.
Settle in with us this evening, ready your soul--- your mind, will and emotions.,
And along with your spirit---your eternal being, quiet the noise inside and out.
Now order body, mind, and spirit to c---aaaalm (calm).
Put your hand on your chest and feel your heartbeat.
Inhale, exhale, breathe in the breath of God, become anew a living soul.
Here is something I am still sure of.
I will see the LORD’s goodness
while I’m still alive.
14 Wait for the LORD.
Be strong and don’t lose hope.
Wait for the LORD.
Now Friends,
Hear God, the creator of the universe, promise you personally, the coming of The Lord Our Righteous Savior. The Savior has come to the earth, lived, given sight to the blind, delivered humans from the oppression of hell, opened the ears of the deaf, healed what doctors could not,, challenged religious hypocrisy, and called humanity beyond mere existence to the abundant, good life that God intended from the Genesis light, order, and life in the earth..
Jesus has come. Then, now, and will again.
Jesus, not a superhero or shero.
Jesus, Our Savior
Jesus--- Infallible, yet moved by our interminable fallibility.
Jesus--- Divine, God, yet human
Jesus--- God’s incomparable grace and kindness shown to us then, now and in the ages to come.
Jesus—- the one who saves his people.
God thank you, for your indescribable gift, Jesus.
Prayer: God your promises are yes, and let it be so. What you promise you will bring to pass.
Thank you for your promise realized, in Jesus.
We have faith that you will bring to pass in our lives what you have, by your Spirit, promised each and every one of us.
Save us, oh God, save us, or we will perish.
In the name of Jesus, your Christ Amen!
