The links to these articles are obviously advertisements from NU company, but they are helpful and healthful information.

I was especially attracted to the information on fluoride and how it impacts the pineal gland which regulates our melatonin which regulates our sleep-wake cycle and imitates iodine which is needed in the thyroid and when ingested enters the thyroid cells killing them and ostensibly leads to hypothyroidism, which I have and many in my family. Hypothyroidism causes, fatigue, joint pain, excess weight, brain fog (dementia), etc...

Have your physician test for hypothyroidism with a full thyroid panel, if you have these symptoms.  Make sure you have your physician do a full thyroid panel, including a test to make sure that your thyroid hormones T4 are properly converting to the useable thyroid hormone T3.

Do not settle for only testing for the TSH l(Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) levels.  Many physicians only do this test and if the levels are within the normal range that says your thyroid is normal and it may not be normal., because the TSH levels only tell whether your pituitary gland is secreting the hormone to tell your thyroid to make T3 and T4.  But, if the T4 is not converting to what your cells can use, T3, then your thyroid is not functioning properly.  The same test can detect whether your thyroid is over-functioning, hyperthyroidism.

Excessive estrogen----- estrogen dominance, sometimes caused by neo-estrogen (fake estrogen) products, like hair straighteners, lotions, and other cosmetics can destroy normal thyroid function.  It is thought by some that estrogen dominance may also be responsible for fibroids.

Apparently, selenium (about 55 mcg for adult women, no more than 400 mcg) and iodine, no more than 150 mcg (incidentally eliminated from most diets because, we no longer use table iodized table salt)  are needed to make this conversion of T4 to useable T3.

So, if fluoride imitates iodine, we may be experiencing this debilitation of the thyroid.  Don't start randomly using table salt to get iodine. Iodine poisoning is real!  There are many other food sources for iodine, and don't start randomly taking selenium.  Have your physician test to see if you are iodine or selenium deficient and then eat more foods with the daily doses of both.

Monee,,

Please,  read this for accuracy before I post it on my website and send to friends and family

The pineal gland also regulates puberty in girls and fluoride can cause fertility problems. our hormones are a delicately balanced,  interrelated system with each affecting the other.

For eliminating fluoride from the water and the filtration of other harmful things like VOC, metals, viruses, etc.  I am recommending either a charcoal filter or a reverse osmosis filter for the filtration of our tap water.

You will see from these articles carbon filters are useful but, reverse osmosis filters tend to eliminate more heavy metals.  Reverse Osmosis also eliminates minerals that are needed in the body.  So, I suggest starting off use a carbon filter.

I use the KOR filtration system, it was given to us by my mother-in-law for my husband, Ashton's birthday. We have used it with replacements for a little over 2 years.  But, use one of your choosing and then research the best reverse osmosis system

This is my own research and the article is meant to raise questions, for your consideration of water filtration, and stimulate your own research.
